so i got my G29 working and there were set automatically Keys & Buttons in game and i was changing some of them and then i pressed reset to default and it all dissapeared how can i get all settings automatically again ? The only thing working is the real automatic shifter, pedals and wheel turning no other buttons are working do i have to assign them manually or is there other way to do it ?

I'm in the keys and buttons section and the xbox one controller I'm using isn't registering changes in the rebindings menu. I can only select keys.When you go to the "Controls" section of the options, at the very top it should let you choose different input methods. The first drop down menu should say "keyboard", then if you click it, it should have options such as "keyboard+XBOX 360 controller" or "keyboard+Xinput". Do you see those options? Most people find it best with the Xinput option.
I have reassigned around two dozen keyboard assignments on both Euro 2 and American Truck Simulators. I first did that a couple of years ago, and had no trouble the entire time I played it. Returning to the games now, I found that all my assignments were lost. Since I had documented them, I reset them. They worked throughout that play session. The next day, when I loaded the game they were Under the regular press, click on the binding and select 'J' key on the keyboard. This means that when we u simply click the Y button, 'J' on keyboard will be activated for that moment, which is the light horn/flasher. Now, click on ADD ACTIVATOR and under Activation type select long press. Click on the binding and select 'K' key on keyboard. Messed Up Key Bindings i some how managed to goof my key binding and now my left click on mouse brongs up my map. i cannot click on anything, as every left click brings up the map. is their a way to reset key bindings outside of the game? Once Steam is open click on the controller icon at the top right of your screen. It will now launch into big picture mode. Once there go to controller settings and make sure your controller is detected. Once it's detected, launch ET2 and go to input wizard and reconfigure your controller. It should work then.
